BDSM INSPIRED FASHION

BDSM inspired fashion has been seen on the runway for years, but has only recently been trickling down into mainstream fashion. With the widely popular Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, society is beginning to accept this sexual practice as relatively more normative rather than deviant. There are leg harnesses, bralettes with harnesses, and several more variations including my favorite, O-ring collars. They may see daunting at first, but I think that as the straps get thinner and the hardware gets smaller, they can be more delicate, while still giving some bite to your outfit. If any of y'all are interested in buying some, I've provided the links on where to get these chokers and I've put together a list of some at the end so be sure to check them out!

I'm not gonna lie, I love O-ring chokers because they instantly make you look just a little bit more bad ass. The transparent straps definitely give you a little bit more of a funky vibe than the solid straps. You can get them in clear or with a tint such as purple, orange, pink, in order to serve your personal
preferences. A transparent O-ring choker is so powerful, it can take a bland outfit and instantly make it unusual and quirky.

There are different variations of the O ring chokers. There are ones where the O shapes hang from the straps(as seen above), and there are ones where the O is in the shape of a heart, ones with thicker straps, thinner straps, studs, multiple Os, multiple straps, and so much more. I'm on the hunt for the perfect, subtle collar that I can rock all summer at concerts and music festivals. Although these chokers may be small, they make a big statement, and I'm really into that.

Hope y'all enjoyed it!
